Improcon 2016 – cancelled!

Note: Improcon 2016 has been cancelled

Dear Improconers,

we are terribly sorry to inform you: Improcon – Congress Of Free Improvised Music, Arts & Thoughts in Kumrovec, Croatia will not happen this year.

After the last minute cancellation of several services that we strongly depend on, and after circumspectly sitting upon all the pros and cons, we have decided that what we were left with, does not allow the production of a workshop festival which would meet the minimal standards we had planned to offer. We are fully aware that the cancellation of Improcon 2016 causes you inconvenience due to scheduling your mid-August activities, and also indirect financial losses.

Hence, all of this year’s applicants are already qualified for next year’s Improcon, if we have not lost your trust completely. Already in September we are starting the preparations of Improcon 2017.

Sincere apology.

Best regards,
Improcon Team
(Nataša Serec, Nenad Borovčak & Mitja Hlupič)
